What does SnapAI do?
Pick a screenshot, photo or PDF, or take a photo, and SnapAI explains what it is, pulls out the important details (amounts, dates, links) and suggests what to do next. Tools cover scam checks, bills, travel, dates and deadlines, documents, forms, translations, replies and more.
Can SnapAI be wrong?
Yes. It is an AI and can misread a screenshot or miss context. Check anything important, such as a payment, a deadline, or a medical or legal matter, with the official source before you act. A scam check is an assessment, not a guarantee: never share a password or one-time code, and contact your bank or the company using a number you already trust. In India you can report cyber fraud on 1930 or at cybercrime.gov.in.
Which files can I use?
Screenshots and photos (JPEG, PNG, WebP; iPhone HEIC photos are converted automatically) and PDFs of up to 10 MB and 20 pages. Password-protected PDFs cannot be read.
Who can see my screenshots?
They are sent securely to SnapAI and analysed by Google's Gemini AI. They are never sold, and not used for training unless you switch that on. Our team cannot browse your screenshots. Read the Privacy Policy for the details.
How long are my screenshots kept?
They are deleted as soon as the analysis is finished — that is the default for every account and you do not have to switch it on. If you would rather keep them, Settings → Data retention lets you choose 7, 30, 90 or 365 days instead. "Delete all my stored screenshots" removes them all now. Your results stay in History until you delete them.
Can I keep an original, and how much space do I get?
On a paid plan, after a scan Snap AI asks whether to keep that one file. If you say yes it is converted, encrypted with a key of its own and kept until you delete it, not on a timer; it only ever opens through your own signed-in session. Snap AI Pro includes 1 GB and Snap AI Business Pro 2 GB, and extra storage can be bought monthly and stacks on top. Profile → Storage shows what you are using and deletes files one at a time or all at once. The free plan cannot keep originals: the file still goes the moment the analysis is done. If your plan or your extra storage ends, kept files become read-only straight away and are deleted 30 days later — we warn you 14 days and 3 days beforehand, and a failed payment on its own never starts that countdown.
How do credits work?
Every analysis costs real AI processing, so each one uses credits: one for most analyses, two for detailed reports such as medical, loan or legal documents. New accounts get 3 free credits, given once per account and once per phone, so reinstalling the app does not reset them. Sharing Snap AI with a friend or watching a short video earns a free credit. SnapAI Pro includes 150 credits every month and Business 500; you can also recharge with top-up packs that never expire. Your balance is shown on the home screen and under Settings → Usage.
How do I cancel SnapAI Pro or get a refund?
Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought from. On Android: Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → SnapAI. Refunds follow the store's policy; for Google Play see Google Play's refund help. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
I bought Pro but the app still shows the free plan
Open Profile → SnapAI Pro and tap "Restore purchases" while signed in to the same Google account you bought with. If you bought Pro on another phone, sign in to SnapAI with the same account first. Still stuck? Email us with the order number from your Google Play receipt.
Why didn't my reminder ring?
Check that notifications are allowed under Settings → Notifications. Some phones delay or block alarms for apps in battery-saver mode; allowing SnapAI to run in the background helps. On Android 14 and later, "Alarms & reminders" and full-screen alerts may need to be allowed in your phone's settings for a reminder to ring on time.
Which languages does SnapAI support?
The app and its results are available in English, Hindi and Spanish (Settings → Language).
What comes with Snap AI Business Pro?
500 credits a month and everything in Pro, plus the business suite: an email inbox you connect your own mailbox to, a WhatsApp inbox on your own number, the CRM, and a WhatsApp API for your own systems. AI writes summaries and draft replies, and a draft waits until you read it and press send. There is also an auto-reply that can answer a customer for you: it is off until you switch it on in Business settings and tell it what your business does, and switching it off stops it at once. You can try the whole thing free for a day without a card. The separate Email and WhatsApp packs we used to sell are no longer offered; if you still hold one it keeps working.
How do I delete my data or my account?
Delete one analysis from its result or from History. Delete all stored screenshots under Settings → Data retention, and kept originals under Profile → Storage. If you use Money & Savings, any expense, import, budget, goal, bill or tracked subscription can be deleted on its own. Removing a Business Inbox connection deletes its stored messages there and then. Delete your whole account under Profile → Account → Delete account, or request deletion by email.
